Our pastor and his family were called to Providence Friends at the beginning of 2018 from Plainfield Friends where he served faithfully for almost five years. Kevin was born and raised at South Plainfield Friends in Sophia, NC and is a graduate of Randleman High School. He has a bachelor's degree from John Wesley University with a double major in Pastoral Ministries and Biblical Studies as well as his Master's Degree in Theological Studies, also from John Wesley.

Since arriving at Providence Friends, Kevin has delivered sermons which encourage us spiritually while challenging us intellectually. He encourages us to deepen our relationship with Jesus Christ daily, so that we might be able to minister to anyone we may encounter with the good news that Jesus saves! We look forward to seeing how God uses Kevin and his family here at Providence. 

Kevin enjoys spending time with his family, teaching God's Word, reading, hunting, fishing, and watching Tarheel basketball.  GO HEELS!
